A recent legislative hearing to discuss the 2019 audit of the Pennsylvania Game Commission veered into other concerns as legislators heard from new agency Executive Director Steve Smith.
During the June 3 hearing with the House Game and Fisheries Committee, Smith did outline several recommendations from the audit that the agency addressed, but legislators had other questions dealing with the Saturday deer season opener, gas royalty payments and problems with transparency.
