Illinois’ McKendree University bass anglers finish 8th at collegiate nationals

Junior Jack Stephens and senior Tomas Matual weighed in a five-bass limit on both days of the ACA Collegiate National Championship to lead Illinois’ McKendree University to eighth place – the second-highest finish in school history.
The event was held on Pickwick Lake in Alabama in late May. It featured 197 boats from 64 different universities.
