New legislation could extend the use of body cameras to deputy game wardens and deputy waterways conservation officers with the Pennsylvania Game and Fish & Boat commissions.
State Sen. Lisa Baker, R-Luzerne, Pike, Susquehanna, Wayne and Wyoming counties, says Senate Bill 1194 protects both the public and the officers. She recently circulated a memorandum asking for cosponsors for the legislation that would authorize deputy game wardens and deputy waterways conservation officers to wear the devices that have so often been in the news in recent years.
