Presque Isle Bay perch barely misses Pennsylvania record

A Lawrence County man appears to have tied the Pennsylvania yellow perch record, but won’t get to share the glory – not officially, anyway.
Chuck Main, of Ellwood City, boated a 3.02-pound perch on Presque Isle Bay April 7, which was on par with the 2.98 pound record-setter Kirk Rudzinski, of Erie, caught on a shiner from Lake Erie in 2021.
