Steve Carney: Modest fishing success on the South Dakota border, but best is yet to come

My first fishing trip to the Big Stone-Traverse South Dakota border-waters system turned out rather lukewarm, as anticipated. It’s amazing how predictable this system can be when everything is predicated on spring water temperatures.
