Wisconsin DNR working hard to build up Bear Lake’s walleyes

Bear Lake was surveyed by the local DNR fisheries team during 2022 to determine the abundance and population demographics of walleyes as part of the treaty assessment protocol for lakes within the Ceded Territory. In addition, the abundance and population demographics were assessed for other sport fish.
