April has anglers smiling. Winter is finally over, at least mostly… though a mid-April snowstorm is never out of the question.
On the other hand, towards the end of the month, it can be short-sleeve weather, and the warming temperatures prompt Hendrickson mayflies to begin hatching, and trout go crazy. In between, you can experience fantastic spring fishing. The following are a few can’t-miss destinations in Michigan.
