On March 14, the fisheries staff of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation held a public meeting in Alexandria Bay to discuss the status of Lake Ontario’s Eastern Basin and the St. Lawrence River black bass population.
Approximately 60 people attended the meeting where fisheries biologists provided an update on the black bass population.
