Nothing gets in our outdoor-loving hearts and minds like the sight of a full moon coming out and drifting across the horizon. In truth, any full moon – winter, spring, summer – or fall gets our complete attention and has even made many good folks sign up for the local photography class.
The indigenous Native American peoples were so connected to the earth and sky that they created some of the most fabled names for places that are now indelibly burned into our collective memories.
