Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission OKs exemption for stocking wild trout stream in Potter County

It doesn’t happen often, but during the Jan. 22 meeting of the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission, an exemption was granted to allow for the continued stocking on a Class A wild trout stream in Potter County.
By an 8-2 vote, commissioners approved the stocking exemption for a section of Big Moores Run, which is south of Coudersport. The exemption covers an approximate 1-mile stretch of the stream and was requested by a private club that operates a pay-to-fish business.
