As I sit here, it is the last day of the Illinois bow season, my deer summer sausage and sticks supplies are already running low, and I’m looking out the window at the worst weather conditions we have seen in several years.
While I was hoping for a quick doe hunt this weekend, the smarter half of me knows the season is over.
