Too cold to fish? Using down time to search out new lakes pays dividends

Recent frigid weather largely landlocked most ice anglers, but it was the perfect time to put some effort into doing some lake prospecting. Researching new lakes allows you to eliminate mediocre lakes and find the hidden gems that are out there.
