Ice Auger 101: A beginners guide to help choose which auger is right for you

Not everyone out there has used a power ice auger, or even a hand auger, to drill a hole in the ice. Recognizing the fact that a lot of folks are just starting out, here is a small study in the basics of starting out using an ice auger, choosing one, and its care and storage for years of use and enjoyment.
