Wisconsin’s preliminary bear kill down sharply from 2022

Even as we start parsing up the early archery season deer kill and 2023 opening weekend gun deer kill, we have an update from the DNR on preliminary harvest numbers from this fall’s bear season. Ironically or coincidentally, those preliminary bear kill numbers are trending with the deer kill. Down.
