Littlefield Lake in Isabella County has a reputation as being tough to fish.
It’s a deep lake with lots of steep drop-offs close to shore, and limited aquatic vegetation so traditional fishing areas are relatively scarce. But the lake has a good population of warm-water fish species including bass, walleye, pike and panfish, which makes it worth a look. Just don’t expect to catch a limit every time out.
