Wondering about reason for recent bear attack in Pennsylvania

When I’m walking deep in the woods during the pre-dawn darkness to my deer stand, or busting through an impenetrable swamp to reach a bass pond, sometimes I wonder if danger is nearby? After all, the woods are full of wild creatures, and while they typically fear us more than we fear them, they are still unpredictable.
