Wisconsin Natural Resources Board gets a look at past year’s DNR CWD efforts

The Wisconsin DNR website states that 17,187 samples were tested for chronic wasting disease in 2022, of which 1,492 were positive.

The DNR gave the Natural Resources Board a general update on what the agency called chronic wasting disease (CWD) accomplishments in 2022, but offered little actual news on any gains.
The report covered April 1, 2022, to March 31, as the state enters its third decade of dealing with CWD.
