Mike Thorman is the 2023 Michigan Outdoor News Person of the Year

Attica resident Mike Thorman has advocated for Michigan sportsmen for decades. Thorman was named the 2023 Michigan Outdoor News Person of the Year.

Mike Thorman is a busy man.
The Attica resident is the legislative director for the Michigan Hunting Dog Federation and represents a host of other hunting organizations at the state and local levels. He’s a regional director for the U.P. Bear Houndsmen, and a board member for the Sportmen’s Defense Alliance, and Citizens for Professional Wildlife Management.
