He didn’t know it then, but one fish changed Josh Teigen’s life.
That fish? A 42-inch muskie he caught as a 7-year-old while fishing with his dad near his home in Bayfield County, Wis.
Teigen, now a fishing guide, turned up at Stevens Point’s Fleet Farm April 20 as part of the store’s Musky Days.
“We were fishing on the Pike Lake Chain, which is where I grew up in Iron River,” he said. “I caught the 42-incher on a Suick. I remember that fish T-boning it right by the boat. That’s what got me hooked."
