Red fox impales itself, rehabbed at Ohio’s Lake County center before release

The Kevin P. Clinton Wildlife Center’s plan is to release the fox back into the wild as close to the place where it was found once it is sufficiently rehabilitated. The release of the medically rehabilitated red fox Jan. 16 by the Lake Metroparks’ Kevin P. Clinton Wildlife Center in Kirtland was a homecoming of sorts for the animal.
It was at the several-acre scrap of wet/brushy/forested property in densely (human) populated Mentor-on-the-Lake where the red fox saw itself in need of being humanely cared for by the experienced wildlife center staff.
