The release of the medically rehabilitated red fox Jan. 16 by the Lake Metroparks’ Kevin P. Clinton Wildlife Center in Kirtland was a homecoming of sorts for the animal.
It was at the several-acre scrap of wet/brushy/forested property in densely (human) populated Mentor-on-the-Lake where the red fox saw itself in need of being humanely cared for by the experienced wildlife center staff.
