One key is suspending your bait about 10 to 11 feet down, so it forces them to come up and feed. Also, these fish can be suspeded, too.
Anglers willing to put in their time and cover water are catching some walleyes. Sitting in one spot and waiting for a bite to develop just doesn’t cut it this time of year.
Lakes and still-water areas are where a liver sac shines.
If you simply fish the lake and take what it gives you rather than keying on a specific fish species, you’ll likely have some success.
