Former DNR boss Landwehr to lead Campaign to Save the Boundary Waters
ELY, Minn. — The Campaign to Save the Boundary Waters announced Tuesday, March 5 that former Minnesota DNR Commissioner Tom Landwehr has been named its executive director. Landwehr served as DNR commissioner for the last eight years under Gov. Mark Dayton (new Gov. Tim Walz chose Sarah Strommen to head the agency earlier this year).
Pennsylvania continues to lead nation in deer-vehicle accidents
Rounding out the top five states of the nation’s overall deer-vehicle-accident claims during this time period, in order, are Michigan, New York, North Carolina, and Texas.
