Long-range shooting expert Davidson at SCI Hunters’ Convention

Shooting at long ranges is often required when hunting big-game animals. Although many hunters can successfully shoot in good conditions, dealing with wind at extreme distances creates a unique challenge. At the 45th annual SCI Hunters’ Convention, scheduled February 1-4, 2017, in Las Vegas, long-range shooting expert Aaron Davidson will address that challenge with his seminar, “Long Range Shooting — Dealing with the Wind.”

Davidson, known for his experience in long-range shooting, has helped develop several products and techniques that can help the average marksman improve.

The seminar will discuss how wind deflects the bullet when shooting long range. Ballistics fundamentals, rules of thumb, and advanced corrections also will be discussed. The seminar is scheduled from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Feb. 3 in the Lagoon A meeting room of the Mandalay Bay Convention Center (Level 2).
