December Outdoor Youth of the Month Eagle Scout project builds archery range
When he set out to earn his Eagle Scout rank, 15-year-old Brian Amundson of Sartell, Minn., knew he wanted to develop something that would benefit other youth in the area of archery. This focus led to the development of a significant Archery Range at Mississippi River County Park in north-central Minnesota that boasts 11 targets at ranges from 10 yards to 80 yards, with a shooting station for each of the targets.
