District 1 – Baudette area CO Ben Huener (Roseau) checked muzzleloader hunters, archery hunters, trappers, and grouse hunters throughout the week. Opening weekend of blackpowder season saw few hunters. CO Nicholas Prachar (Baudette) reports working hunting activities. Anglers still are being persistent, catching walleyes from boats on Lake of the Woods and the Rainy River.
