Northeast Pennsylvania Fishing Report – May 20th, 2016

Lackawanna Lake (Lackawanna County) — Trout were reported on rainbow-colored pastebait and pinhead minnows. 

Roaring Brook (Lackawanna County) — Spinners and pinhead minnows were catching trout in recent weeks.

Loyalsock Creek (Sullivan, Lycoming counties) — Trout were reported on live baits, such as butter worms and waxworms. Hendricksons worked for one fly-angler.

Delaware River (Monroe County) — Shad were running in early May, with numbers increasing as weather warmed.

Lake Winola (Wyoming County) —Trout and bass were hitting in recent weeks.

Lake Wallenpaupack (Pike County) — Releases of striped bass and smallmouth bass were reported during daytime hours in early May. Perch, chain pickerel, and crappies also were reported.
