Southeast Ohio Fishing Report – January 29th, 2016
Dillon Lake (Muskingum County) — Anglers fishing below the spillway on this popular Muskingum County lake have been catching crappies and a few saugeyes. The ‘eyes have been running in the small 11- to 13-inch range, however. The crappie bite has been better, though. Try waxworms fished on a jig or minnow and jig combinations.
Seneca Lake (Noble and Guernsey counties) — Fishermen trying their luck below the spillway are catching a few fish, according to reports. Crappies and bluegills fill out the catch in most instances with the larger fish going up to 12 inches. Try live bait and jig combinations.
