Metro Area Fishing Report – November 27th, 2015

Although you could still drop a boat in most lakes, especially larger bodies of water, fishing action has been non-existent over the past week. There is some ice taking hold along the shorelines and a few small lakes were mostly covered with skim ice by Tuesday morning, but nothing that’s close enough to consider walking on at this point.

This area is “between seasons” with limited ice reported. Fishing pressure has been light as most anglers are waiting for walkable ice to form. A few anglers fishing from shore on the Crow River are catching walleyes on a jig and minnow combination.
