Hatches have been picking up on the West Branch of the Ausable, and that should continue now as waters warm a bit. The region’s stocked trout streams have been go-to spots for anglers.  Lake Champlain has been offering up decent bass action, but keep in mind it’s a catch-and-release deal until the June 13 opener.
