Lake St. Clair Ice was deteriorating rapidly last week on Lake St. Clair, and anglers were urged to use extreme caution. The shoreline was breaking up. Briar Creek Lake (Columbia County)  — Some nice crappies were reported, but the bite was slow. Susquehanna River — A few bass up to 18 inches and flathead catfish, including a 30-pounder, were reported on jig and minnow combos by Koinonia Guide Service in mid-March.
