Metro Area Fishing Report – March 20th, 2015

NORTHEAST METRO

The majority of shorelines have pulled away preventing anglers from getting on the ice. A few people were walking on Forest Lake and Big Carnelian Lake early this week and catching panfish, but that will likely come to an end soon.

WEST METRO

The shorelines have opened and that’s prevented anglers from getting on most lakes. If they are going, walking is the only option and even that’s not recommended on area lakes after last week’s warm weather.
