Little Juniata River — Rainfall left water high, off-color and in the mid-60-degree range at midday, according to TCO Fly Shop Aug. 14. In clearing conditions, TCO advised fishing terrestrials, such as Green Weenies, or nymphing with Green Caddis Larva or small mayfly nymphs. Hatches included blue quills, caddis, a few slate drakes, and light cahills. TCO also advised anglers to check water temperatures, and to avoid targeting trout in 70-degree water.
