Leeches and willow cats are turning walleyes in the deep channels, wing dams, and back sloughs of the Mississippi River. You’ll also find panfish in the current breaks and catfish in the deep holes of the river. Trout anglers are reporting better action early and late each day since the heat arrived, with fly fishing gear or worms working best on streams throughout the Whitewater area.
