Southern Lower Peninsula Fishing Report – January 17th, 2014

Lake St. Clair Sub-zero temperatures kept most anglers off Lake St. Clair last week. Those who did brave the weather reported catching fair numbers of perch in front of  Gino’s Surf, at Metro Beach, in front of Selfridge in Anchor Bay, and off Cotton Road. Southeast Pennsylvania Fishing Report – January 17th, 2014

Delaware River — Brinkman’s Bait & Tackle reported Dec. 29 that the lower river was yielding a few catfish on chicken livers, chunked eel and crawlers, but fishing was generally slow. A 20-pound-plus muskie also was reported by an angler who had picked up a 40-inch striped bass on a live sucker several weeks earlier.
