While the hard-water crowd impatiently awaited safe ice for Lake George, there were some good ice fishing options available in the region. Anglers were on Saratoga Lake and pulling perch as well as largemouth bass (release the bass). Action was slow at last check on Round Lake, while Moreau Lake was another option at last report. Keep an eye on changing conditions.
