DULUTH AREA Most small lakes and ponds were covered with ice by Tuesday morning so fishing opportunities have ended. The deer season has not been spectacular, but the number of deer taken has been better than expected. The majority of deer shot have been small bucks and antlerless with a noticeable void of bigger bucks.
