Northwest Minnesota Fishing Report – September 13th, 2013

A jig and minnow or crawler and spinner are triggering walleyes in 17 to 22 feet at Lake Miltona and Lake Ida. Work the 16- to 20-foot weed edges of Lake Reno with crawlers for walleyes as well. Muskies are hitting bucktails on Miltona and you’ll find crappies and bass on the weedlines of lakes Carlos, Le Homme Dieu, and Darling. Goose numbers have grown over the past week so more birds are being shot.
