East Jordan Area

Walleye fishing has been very good on Lake Charlevoix. Crawler harnesses fished along the weeds in 15 to 18 feet of water have been productive. Bass fishing has been good in the main lake in 30 feet of water. The best bites have come 20 feet down on a hook and a worm. Trout fishing has been good. Lots of 12- to 13-inch brookies and browns have been caught. The fish have moved into the feeder streams because the main rivers are too warm. Bluegill fishing has been very good on the Six Mile Chain of Lakes in 4 to 6 feet of water.
