Salt Fork Lake (Guernsey County)

With deer season winding down, saugeye fishermen are starting to hit the lake on a daily basis, reports Salt Fork Outdoors in Cambridge.  The shad have finally balled up near the dam. Several reports of anglers catching saugeyes in the 20- to 22- inch range are coming in. Cabin Bay is still one of the better spots as it will hold a baitfish population most of the winter. Minnows, Lil’ Nitro’s, Vib-Es are the baits that are being used.
