Delaware's Killens Pond Throws Third Annual Spring Fling

FELTON (March 30, 2012) – Killens Pond State Park will, for the third year, host its annual Spring Fling on Saturday, April 14, 2012 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.  This family-friendly program will feature hayrides, music, food, arts and craft vendors, live demonstrations, a moon bounce and petting zoo.  A program fee of $2 includes all activities.  Park entry fees are also in effect.  Children under 2 are admitted free of charge.

The Spring Fling is held in the park’s campground off Paradise Alley Road in Felton.  Directions and information about attendance or vendor opportunities are available by calling 302-284-4299.

While at the park, families can enjoy a visit to the new Killens Pond Nature Center featuring interactive learning and live animal exhibits.  Killens Pond State Park is conveniently located at 5025 Killens Pond Road, Felton, 19943, just off of Route 13.
