According to a complaint filed by the Equal Opportunity
Commission in a Houston, Texas court, outdoor retailer Bass Pro
Shops has been discriminating against black and hispanic job
applicants and retaliating against workers that fought these
practices dating back to 2005.
The company denies the charges.
“The EEOC’s allegations are contrary to our profound respect for
and commitment to our team of experienced and knowledgeable
associates, and we are determined to prove them wrong,” said Mike
Rowland, VP of Human Resources for Bass Pro.
