SD: Outdoor Campus Hosts Geocaching Event July 30

Join other geocachers in Sertoma Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.,
Saturday, July 30, at The Outdoor Campus for a geocaching event
featuring South Dakota animals.

The event is created for geocachers who want to learn more about
South Dakota wildlife. “Caches” will be hidden in Sertoma Park and
GPS coordinates will be announced the day of the event. A drawing
for prizes will be at 2 p.m., at the end of the event time.

The geocaching event is part of the larger Outdoor University
event taking place in the park on the same day. In addition to
geocaching activities, visitors can go fishing, kayaking, try
archery and BB guns and see South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks law
enforcement vehicles and boats, animal tracking collars,
demonstrations by the North American Versatile Hunting Dog
Association and much more.

Both events are free and open to the public.
