FT. COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado Parks and Wildlife is partnering
with the Larimer County Longbeards Chapter of the National Wild
Turkey Federation to provide a fun-filled Outdoor Skills day at
Swift Ponds in Ft. Collins. This “JAKES Rainbow to Adventure”
program is targeted at youth ages 8 to 16 with a parent or
guardian. Activities include outdoor survival skills, archery,
shooting and fishing. Anyone interested in participating should

WHO: Children ages 8-16 with an adult
WHEN: Monday, Aug. 1 from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
WHERE: Swift Ponds – North of Windsor in Ft. Collins – detailed
instruction provided when participants register in advance.
COST: $5 per youth
Participants will need to bring weather appropriate clothing,
sunscreen, a hat and drinking water for the day. Lunch and all
other materials are provided.
