SD GFP to hold meetings on fishing regulations

Watertown, S.D. (AP) – Staff members from the state Game, Fish
and Parks Department plan to hold two public meetings in
northeastern South Dakota on possible changes in fishing
regulations for walleyes and bass.

The meetings are scheduled for next Tuesday evening in Watertown
and the evening of Aug. 27 in Webster.

Fisheries biologist Brian Blackwell says some of the changes
would standardize many northeastern South Dakota lakes.

Among the lakes that will be discussed are Clear Lake, Enemy
Swim, Pickerel, Poinsett, Richmond, Roy, Mina, Waubay and
Kampeska.
