NH sets migratory bird hunt

Concord, N.H. (AP) – The New Hampshire Fish and Game department
has finalized its calendar for bird hunting season.

The fall season starts and ends with crows, which may be hunted
between Aug. 15 and Nov. 30. In between, dates have been set for
hunting resident Canada geese, woodcock, snipe and sea ducks.

Hunters of all migratory game birds must have a 2008 New
Hampshire hunting license and are required by federal law to
register for the National Migratory Bird Harvest Information
Program. Waterfowl hunters must also obtain a federal duck stamp
and state waterfowl hunting license.

Late-season dates will be set after a public hearing Aug.
