PGC says the deer harvest is up 4%

Harrisburg – The Pennsylvania Game Commission’s recent announcement that hunters harvested an estimated 335,850 deer in the state’s 2008-09 seasons – 4 percent more than the agency’s estimate for the previous year – was greeted with both satisfaction and dismay by leaders of groups representing Keystone State sportsmen.
