Father-son team wins MWC on the Illinois

Steve and Adam Sandor, of Tonica and Ottawa, respectively,
caught a 2-day total of 27.6 pounds to win the 2009 Cabela’s MWC
tournament on the Illinois River this past weekend.

The father-son team landed 12.05 pounds on day one and 15.55
pounds on day two. The Sandors also earned ‘big fish’ awards with a
4.76 pounder.

Second place went to Steve Skupien, of Frankfort, and Dave
Kleszyk, of Oakbrook Terrace. They brought in 11.48 pounds on day
one and 14.06 pounds on day two for a total of 25.54 pounds.
