In Oconto County, Geano Beach anglers are seeing some success
for perch and whitefish more than 2 miles out from the landing. The
Oconto breakwater harbor is producing some whitefish and the
occasional northern pike off of the end of the breakwater. As the
weather warms up, anglers will begin heading to the Machickanee
Flowage, Shawano Lake, and White Clay Lake in search of
panfish.
