Lake St. Clair

Fishing is on fire on Lake St. Clair. Muskie action has been
excellent for anglers fishing bucktails at the Belle River Hump and
behind the St. Clair Light. Walleye fishing also has been good
along the Canadian side of the lake and at the Dumping Grounds.
Perch anglers report a very good bite in front of Grosse Pointe
Yacht Club, at the Nine Mile Tower, and in front of 12 Mile, 13
Mile and 14 Mile roads.

Irish Hills Area

Pike are hitting spoons and spinnerbaits on Vineyard, Clark, and
Devil’s lakes. Bluegill fishing has been very good on Sand and Deep
lakes. The best bites have come to anglers fishing crickets in 20
feet of water, 10-12 feet down.

Luna Pier Area

Perch fishing has improved on Lake Erie since the walleyes have
moved out to deep water around the Sister Islands. Perch are
hitting minnows fished in front of Toledo Beach and at the mouth of
the River Raisin.
