The St. Marys River is packed full of walleyes. Anglers trolling
and drifting nightcrawler harnesses and bottom bouncers report
great action in Raber Bay along the edge of the channel, and in
Munuscong Bay. Perch fishing is picking up, too. Anglers fishing in
Lake Huron at Cedarville are catching good numbers of perch,
sunfish, and pike along the weeds off the points in 8 to 12 feet of

Drummond Island Area
Fishing has been fair around Drummond Island. Perch fishing has
been decent in Scotts, Maxton, and Whitney bays, with minnows
producing the best results. Smallmouth bass fishing also has been
good in the bays with crawlers attracting attention. A few pike
also have been caught.

St. Ignace Area
Salmon fishing has been good on Lake Huron’s Moran Bay. Those
trolling spoons report a decent bite. Walleye fishing has been slow
on Brevoort Lake.

Fishing has been slow on the Manistique Lakes. A few perch are
hitting on Big Manistique, but action has been fair at best. Those
fishing minnows and nightcrawlers along the sand bars report the
